An existing customer who had Nu-Style Outdoor blinds on their alfresco area called us back to install a roller shutter to their theatre window. Initially, they had been reluctant to add any metal furnishings to the front elevation of the home. However, the north-facing window with no eaves above was simply too exposed to the heat in summer and rain in winter.

We colour-matched our roller shutter box and profile to Monument (like the wall texture coat) and opted for a face-fit installation with the tracks and box positioned over the brick window opening, as the window was an awning-style wind-out design.

The clients appreciated that the colour matched perfectly, and that when the shutter was raised, they could still achieve maximum airflow through the awning windows behind. The roller shutter provided security, heat reduction, privacy and noise reduction, whilst still complementing the modern aesthetic and colour scheme of the home.

The clients were so happy with the process, product and service they received that they purchased a security door for the front as well!
